Q.There are a number of recruiting services available online. What is different about the Coaches' Eye?

A.Online services generally just provide a profile for a college coach to see. The Coaches' Eye not only has the player profile, but also a game film/films for coaches to view, which is attatched directly to the player's profile.

Q.Can I fast-forward or rewind the videos?

A.Yes, to do so click and hold the triangle underneath the progress bar, you can then drag it to move the video forward or back.

Q.How do I get filmed by The Coaches' Eye?

A.We will be filming games at many events through out the summer, such as; the Indoor Action Sports Showcases, the New Jersey Shootout, Xtreme Lax 06, and the TopLax Invitational just to name a few! Check out the Resources page for more information of filming locations.

Q.How do I submit my own footage?

A.Player submitted videos can be up to 100 MB and should be around 8-10 minutes in length. Players can upload their own footage directly from their profile page. Please remember to include your jersey number/color and anything else to help coaches identify you.

Q.How long is my membership good for?

A.PLAYERS: We have a six (6) month minimum membership. At the end of this period, you can choose to end your subscription, or continue it for another six (6) months.
COACHES: Your membership is good for as long as you are a college coach. If you switch to another school please notify us so we can update our records.

Q.Can't I just send a film to a coach?

A.Absolutely! However, the beauty of the Coaches' Eye is that EVERY college coach can have access. This means there is the potential to not only have your video viewed by every coach you would send a tape to, but also all those college coaches you may not have thought of, but may have an interest in you.

Q.How can I let a coach know I am interested in their program?

A.The Coaches' Directory has a comprehensive list of men's and women's coaches in each division, complete with contact information. It is also important that you let coaches know you are in the Coaches' Eye.

Q.As a college coach, if a player tells me they're part of the Coaches' Eye, how would I find their profile?

A.Simply sign-up for a FREE coaches' account, and in minutes you will be able to search for players by year of graduation, name, location, size, dominant hand, and many other important criteria. Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions.

Q.What if I want to add something special to my profile?

A.You may upload a self photo, and a small video clip. The video may be a clip of you playing or even an interview to let coaches get to know you. Another beauty of the system is that your player profile can be updated as many times as you like, and whenever you like.

Q.My son/daughter is going to a summer camp and there will be college coaches present, so why do I need to invest in the Coaches' Eye?

A.Camps are great and fun for the players. But, there are hundreds of players and multiple fields being used at once. A coach may be at one field, and the player hoping to be seen may be at another. Being part of the Coaches' Eye means that a player can be seen anytime, year round by a coach, and not just hope to be seen at a 3-5 day camp. Best of all, the cost of a year's service from the Coaches' Eye is less than a 4-day camp! When you leave a camp, you have great memories, but the Coaches's Eye continues to provide opportunities for the future.
